This Week At IAA Friday 10 July 2020
Our three-month anniversary has passed and we are excited to have enough highlights to fill a whole page. Check out our highlights here.
July Fundraiser - Helping Orphans In DR Congo
Our July fundraiser is off to a flying start and we are delighted to be able to tell you all that we have managed to raise over $2,100.00 so far.
We are raising this money to send orphans in DR Congo to school. With your help, we can make a huge difference in the lives of many orphans in war-torn DR Congo.
If you haven't already, but want to help disadvantaged orphans in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), who are amongst some of the most vulnerable children in the world, then please click here to donate, now. Thank you for your generosity.
Sadly it is a case of two steps forward, one step back. This week, Mubarak should have finally been granted access to his legal team, unfortunately, the judge presiding over the case is sick and unable to sit in judgement for now. Unfortunately, this means that Mubarak continues to sit in limbo and we still have no idea about his location, state of health or wellbeing.

Although we are beginning to see some forward movement, we cannot ease up on the Nigerian authorities. Any publicity we can generate can only be of benefit.
Member of the Month
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our first ever Member of the Month, Mohammed Aly. Members join to pledge continued support to our many initiatives. There is no requirement to be active in any way once a member has joined, but Mohammed is a constant voice of support on all social media channels. We thank you, Mohammed, for your commitment to IAA.
"We aren't into converting atheists. We're trying to help atheists. In my view, these words represent the driving force of IAA and its higher ethical standards such as honesty, transparency and respect. In fact, I am proud to be a member and to say that IAA is an organisation which can achieve the atheists' dreams: difference, honesty, values and authenticity."

How Are We Doing?
We are delighted to be able to share with you our achievements after three months of operation. We have raised over $13,000 USD for our partners and over $22,000 in total. See more of our highlights and how your money is being used:
In 3 months of operation, we have raised over $13,000 USD for our partners and we are so excited for the opportunity to support more. We are always happy to welcome new organizations into our network of partners, so please welcome the Atheists of Florida to our growing family.
Their mission is to advocate for social acceptance of the essential fact that there is no reason or evidence that supports the proposition that gods or supernatural phenomena exist.
If you are part of an organization that considers itself atheist, humanist or atheist-friendly, consider signing up to be our partner now. It's totally free.
GuideStar Silver Seal
As you should be aware, one of our touchstones is transparency. Not only do we want to be a force for good in the world, but we wish to do so with complete transparency so that you can see what we are doing, how your funds are used and how we support our partners.
Therefore we are pleased to announce that we were granted a Guidestar Silver Seal on our three-month anniversary.

One of the benefits of becoming a member is the free "swag bag" that comes with it. You get (depending on your level of membership) a membership card, a bumper sticker, a lapel pin and a tote bag.
Use your bumper sticker to declare your atheism and humanitarianism to the world with pride.
Our colourful lapel pin sets off any outfit adding a declaration of your commitment to being part of a force for good in the world.
And what better way to carry all your swag, but our tote bag. It's useful too, as you can use it to carry many other things as well.

We want to welcome all the new members who have signed up in the last week. Becoming a member is the best way to ensure you're supporting all causes of the fastest-growing Atheist non-profit in the world. We prioritize secular education, legal aid for blasphemy, safety for atheists around the world, networking for atheist business owners and so much more.
Become a member today and be part of something big.

There is also a small stipend as our thanks to you, and you'll be able to walk away with a letter of reference and a group of friends who can vouch for you in any professional setting.
